Semi-double, near double on mature plants, with a large flower that opens a cool medium pink, that soon fades in the sun. Broad guards, petals grade narrower inward, surround a center of loosely clustered stamens with slender, feathery segments interspersed. Petals of good substance, segments near center with red colored accents possible. Flowers are notably resistant to late freeze damage, side buds lengthen boom. Very satisfying plant habit, vigorous and excellent increase, a reliable bloomer with ample color on a large, tall bush. Strong, erect stems well clothed in broad leaflets of deep bluish green, foliage retains an attractive appearance for most of the growing season into fall. Bush holds its form well, stems may arch with rain in the opened flower, light support suggested for best results. This variety is well suited for the perennial border and furnishes fine stems for the vase.
