Description

Fragrant, full double large flower opens a warm, soft pink shade. Many rows of broad, cupped petals, grading smaller inward, form a loose, low silhouette flower that reveals a faint golden cast gleaming in center. The flower is of nicely tailored form and exhibition quality, much loved for its color and form. Side buds extend flowering season. Very satisfying plant habit, vigorous but slow to increase, dependable bloomer with ample color on a large, medium height bush. Longs stem, leaning when in open flower requires mechanical support in the landscape. Yields fine stems for the vase and is an excellent choice for the cut flower garden. Also known as Peony ‘Mrs. F.D.R.’

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
