Description

Fragrant bomb double, the large flower opens rich medium pink. Flower buds open easily, with the center building as the flower matures. Side buds lengthen the blooming season. Very fragrant, good substance, strong grower. Stems hold up well in flower on a medium height spreading bush. Mechanical support suggested when exposed to wind and inclement weather events. Somewhat similar to  P. ‘Monsieur Jules Elie’ but opens a few days earlier. No pollen, but forms seeds. This peony is an excellent addition to any flower border, landscape and cut flower garden. It furnishes fine stems for the vase.
