Description

The fragrant, full double flower opens in delicate pink shades. The pigmentation is more pronounced in the heart of the flower grading lighter outward. The color soon fades to lighter shades of pink and eventually to blush, veiled in silver by the time petals drop. The large flower is generously furnished with petals, broad guards surround many layers of segments that successively grade narrower toward center forming a high silhouette, domed shape. It is a sumptuous, nicely tailored flower with a pleasant fragrance. The bush has a very satisfying plant habit, it is quite vigorous and a dependable bloomer. It produces ample color on a broad, tall bush within a few years of planting. The main flower and side buds are born on long stems well above the dark green foliage. Stems sprawl when in flower and require mechanical support in the viewed landscape. This variety rewards with a fabulous display in the perennial border and furnishes fine stems for the vase. It is an excellent choice for the cut flower garden.
