Our Hybridizing Program
Hollingsworth Peonies remains committed to breeding and growing extraordinary peonies. We use the Mendelian crosses and traditional selection methods for this process. This is done by hand in the field and not in a laboratory. We do not use tissue/micro culture, growth champers, or genetic engineering. There is no coddling of seedlings, only the strongest plants survive. For this reason, our assortment remain, tough and untainted. Our assortment is Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) free.
