Description

The fragrant, full double flower opens blush white, fading to pure white when mature. The blush pink pigments are more persistent in a cool spring climate. The broad outer flower petals enclose many layers of segments that grade narrower inward, forming a large flower. The segments are well formed, slightly ruffled and of good substance. It is a sumptuous flower that boasts many excellent qualities. The bush has a very satisfying plant habit and vigorous and fast to increase, forming a large clump within a few years of planting. This variety is a dependable bloomer and produces ample color on a spreading, large bush. This bush is of medium height with flowers borne close enough to the foliage for a gorgeous and well-proportioned presentation. The stems are long enough for cutting, yielding long lasting cut flower stems. The foliage is glossy, dark green, the leaflets are quite large. The leaf condition does not decline and remains attractive, culminating with fall color at the end of the growing season. This peony makes a great addition to the sunny border and furnishes fine stems for the vase. It is one of the finest peonies available.
