The bomb double, medium size flower opens cream white. A saucer of broad guard petals holds a ball of narrow petal segments and pale yellow petalodes. The segments obscure a remnant of yellow stamens. It is an adorable smallish flower that is nicely tailored and of good substance. Side buds extend the bloom season. It is a dependable variety with quite satisfactory bush habit. The increase of this vigorous plant is average, and it produces a semi-dwarf bush after a few years of planting. It is free flowering and the size of the bush to the flowers is harmonious and balanced. This charming, old-fashioned variety is a good choice for the near border.
