The award winning, Japanese type flower opens in pink shades. The outer petals are light orchid pink, while inner segments range in shades of light pink to rose red. Broad, well-formed outer petals surround a cluster of long and narrow staminodes forming a medium size flower. On a well-grown, mature plants, the flower type may range from Japanese to Anemone, near Bomb double form, with the center segments then larger and of the same color as the outer petals. The smaller side buds retain color contrast and extend the bloom season. The bush has a very satisfying plant habit, it is vigorous and of very good increase, growing a large clump within a few years of planting. It produces a generous amount color on a spreading, medium height bush. The flowers are borne close enough to the foliage for a well-proportioned presentation. The leaves are deep, dark green and remain healthy throughout the growing season. Long stems arch with the open flower, if subjected to rain. This variety is mostly self-supporting, use light support against inclement weather events if found necessary. This variety furnishes fine stems for the vase. Adaptive to many uses, it is a great choice for the cut flower garden, a great specimen plant for the near border and effective in mass plantings.
