Fragrant, bomb double, large flower opens in salmon to coral shades. Intensity of the pigmentation varies through a wide range, changing with the length of spring warm-up and the associated temperatures. Large, nicely shaped guard petals surround a center of narrower, elongated segments of same color, interspersed with faintly, golden edged petalodes. An attractive flower of unique low profile and neatly tailored form. Good plant habit, vigorous, free flowering, and ample color on a substantial, medium height bush. Stout stems hold flowers well, staking not required when cultivated in good growing conditions. It makes for a prominent peony in the landscape and an excellent choice for the cut flower garden.
