Description

Occasional larger center petals imparting an informal look; most wanted for its clear, bright ruby red hue. One of the best Auten’s later achievements in this color. No finer red color in any peony which flowers at this late season. Medium size, abundant flowers. Medium tall, strong, erect stems clothed in dark green foliage, an excellent plant for the garden. Seed fertile.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
