Anemone, large flower opens carmine-violet, with the color more pronounce and deeper in cooler climates. Broad guard petals surround a large cluster of narrow, acutely pointed petalodes and staminodes, making a flower of unique form and striking presentation. Excellent, upright plant habit, vigorous, dependable and prolific bloom on a tall bush. Strong stems, generously furnished with deep green foliage, hold flowers above the canopy. Attractive qualities and reliable performance make it a fine choice for the perennial border and floral arrangements. This historic variety is rarely offered.
