The single flower opens snow white with a yellow center. Two rows of broad petals surround a large cluster of yellow stamens and pale green carpels tipped with rose red stigmas. The vivid color of the stigmas creates a desirable contrast to the white and yellow color pattern. The yellow filaments are quite short and bare stamens, holding them in a rather dense cluster. The pigments are stable, and the color loses little of its intensity until the petals drop. It is a nicely tailored, pleasing flower with good substance. The substantial bush exhibits an excellent plant habit. It is vigorous, fast to increase and produces a verdant bush within a few years of planting. It is a dependable bloomer, covering the plant in a good amount of color, the occasional side buds add to the display. The blooms are carried near the canopy of the dark green foliage. Self-supporting, strong stems are erect and well covered in deep green foliage. The foliage remains attractive for most of the growing season well into fall. The bush holds its shape well against inclement weather events and staking is not required under normal growing conditions. This variety is among the best white single flower peonies available. It is an excellent variety for the perennial border and is particularly effective in mass plantings.
