Fragrant, bomb double, large to very large flower opens in shades of yellow. Guard petals yellow, quite large and of good substance. Distinctive multi-colored, large center ball shows in yellow and cream-buff tinted sulfur green shades. A most remarkable flower in texture, shape and color. Good plant habit, vigorous and good grower, a fair bloomer with ample color on a large, tall bush. Long, straight stems, well covered in glossy deep green foliage, lower portion typically naked. Strong, erect stems spreading in rough weather, sometimes break off due to weight of heavy flower, good support needed if to be flowered in the viewed landscape. A very unique peony that performs best in cool, northern climates. Yields unique stems for the vase, a fabulous choice for the cut flower garden.
