Description

Bomb double; large, opens ruby red, dark but not blackish, excellent substance. Petals tightly packed, forming a near perfect globe shape but obscure guard petals in some instances and seasons. Stems lean, need added support when flowered in the landscape. Reputedly a sibling to Red Charm, although introduced to commerce much later.

General garden and landscape use; perennial border; cut flower garden; deer resistant.

Basic Growing Requirements
Full Sun. Water as needed, sensitive to overwatering and waterlog conditions. Soil pH 6.5-7. Fertile, well-draining soil.
