Fragrant, semi-double, double on well grown mature plants; large, flower opens light yellow, color fades with age. Broad petals, fluted and margins notched, grade narrower inward, surround a cluster of yellow stamens. In center inconspicuous green carpels, stigma red, flower fertile both ways, has pollen and seed. The attractive flower is nicely formed and of quite good substance. Side buds extend bloom. Good plant habit, vigorous and fast to increase, a dependable bloomer with ample color on a substantial, tall bush. Sturdy, erect stem carries flower above the foliage canopy. Bush well clothed in semi-glossy dark green foliage, remains attractive for most of the growing season. The bush form holds well against rough weather, stake if found necessary. It makes a great presentation in the flower border, furnishes fine stems for the vase and attracts honey bees and pollinators.
